Cambodia closed all border crossing points with Thailand

Cambodia has closed all border crossing points with Thailand following escalating tensions.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a declaration by Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior.

According to the ministry, the decision was taken to ensure the safety of citizens of both countries and foreign nationals in the region.

The restriction came into force on December 13 and will remain in effect for an indefinite period.
