Uzbekistan to launch first satellite

Uzbekistan plans to launch its first satellite into space, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced.

Axar.az informs according to Mirziyoyev, the project also includes preparing the country’s first astronaut.

The president emphasized that the satellite launch and the participation of a Uzbek citizen in the space program are intended to boost the nation’s scientific and technological potential and accelerate its progress in high-tech sectors.
