Seven Turkish police wounded in clashes with ISIS militants

Seven Turkish police officers were wounded during a clash with suspected ISIS militants in Yalova province in northwest Turkiye on Monday.

Axar.az informs, citing Turkisj media, the clash broke out during an operation carried out by provincial police teams at a house on the road to Elmalik village in the city center.

The operation, supported by special operations police deployed from Bursa, is continuing under tight security measures in the area.

Authorities said the injured officers were taken to hospital and are in good condition.
