Storms cause mass flight delays, cancellations in US

More than 10,000 flights have been delayed due to unstable weather conditions in the US Midwest and Northeast.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the FlightAware portal.

According to the information, an additional 1,900 flights were canceled starting from Monday and the early hours of Tuesday.

It is noted that these regions were hit by heavy snowfall and strong storm winds. In particular, on Monday evening in Chicago, Illinois, wind speeds in some areas reached up to 25 m/s. Along with large-scale flight cancellations and delays, numerous road accidents were also reported.
