Ramzan Kadyrov was reportedly hospitalized in Moscow on the night of December 25.

Axar.az reports that the Novaya Gazeta publication reported this, citing a source.

According to the publication, Kadyrov arrived in Moscow on December 24 and intended to attend a meeting of the State Council, which was scheduled to be held with the participation of Vladimir Putin and regional leaders. However, due to a sudden deterioration in his health, he was taken to the Central Clinical Hospital under the Presidential Administration.

According to the source, he was barely saved in Moscow, after which Kadyrov returned home and has not been seen in public since.

It is noted that elections for the head of the region should be held in the republic in 2026. If Kadyrov is unable to participate in these elections, no informal or closed negotiations will be held in Moscow regarding possible successors.
