Bad weather closes tourist sites in Georgia

Due to severe weather conditions, a number of tourist sites in Georgia will be temporarily closed to visitors starting January 4.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by Georgia’s Agency of Protected Areas.

It was stated that because of difficult meteorological conditions, Sataplia, the Navenakhevi Cave, Okatse Canyon, and Okatse Waterfall have been temporarily closed to visitors.

Meanwhile, the Prometheus Cave and Martvili Canyon, which are currently closed, will resume normal operations for visitors starting January 5.
