US: Iran’s internet shutdown won’t silence protesters

Even an internet shutdown in Iran will not be able to silence the voices of protesters.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a post on the State Department's social media account.

"The regime of the Islamic Republic has completely shut down the internet to silence the voices of the Iranian people, but it cannot be silenced like a network connection. The people of Iran, the world still hears and sees you," the Department said.
