During the protest in front of the Iranian Embassy in Armenia, the police did not allow the participants to march in the direction of the Blue Mosque.

The participants of the protest said that the rally and march were approved by the mayor's office decision dated January 15. According to them, part of the march was canceled yesterday after the "threats" of the Iranian ambassador.

In protest, the participants began a sit-in protest. The police demanded that the action be stopped and warned that force and special means may be used.

The situation at the scene remains tense.
