6.4-magnitude earthquake hits Kamchatka

An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 occurred in the Kamchatka region of Russia.

Axar.az informs that the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported this.

The tremors were recorded 143 km from the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsk, at a depth of 59.4 km.

No information was given about damage or casualties.
