UN warns of imminent financial collapse

The UN is facing an imminent financial collapse due to non-payment of membership fees and a budget rule that requires the return of unspent funds.

Axar.az reports that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said this.

According to him, the deepening crisis in the organization threatens the implementation of programs and increases the risk of financial collapse.

"The situation will worsen in the near future," he noted.

According to the Secretary-General's calculations, the organization's financial reserves may be exhausted by July.
