At least 227 killed in DR Congo mine collapse

At least 227 people have been killed after a mine collapse near the town of Rubaya in North Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, that the death toll may rise.

It is noted that the mine in question produces coltan, a mineral in high demand worldwide.
