Russian court orders arrest of rapper Oxxxymiron

A Russian court has ordered the arrest in absentia of rapper Oxxxymiron (real name Miron Fyodorov), who has been designated a “foreign agent”.

Axar.az informs announcement was made by Daria Lebedeva, head of the Joint Press Service of the St. Petersburg Courts.

The court ordered Fyodorov’s detention for two months. The term will begin once he is detained on Russian territory or extradited to Russia.

Fyodorov is charged under Part 2 of Article 330.1 of Russia’s Criminal Code, which concerns violations of procedures governing the activities of a foreign agent by a person who has already faced administrative penalties for similar offenses. The charge carries a possible prison sentence of up to two years.

Oxxxymiron was placed on Russia’s wanted list in May 2024. His whereabouts have not yet been established, and he is deliberately evading investigators, Lebedeva said.
