Six dead, around 20 injured in explosion in Kazakhstan

In Shchuchinsk, Akmola Region, a gas explosion and fire at the “Center of Plov” café killed six people and injured about 20.

Axar.az, citing Russian media, informs that the regional Emergency Department (DCHS) reported the incident.

Firefighters removed eight gas cylinders from the building and rescued more than ten people. The fire was fully extinguished by 22:40 MSK.

Authorities, including regional officials, medical services, police, and gas safety inspectors, are on site investigating the cause and circumstances of the incident.
