U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia struck by drones -

The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was attacked by two drones, according to a spokesperson for the Saudi Defense Ministry.

Axar.az reports that preliminary estimates indicate the attack caused a small fire and minor damage to the building, the spokesperson said on X.

The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh also said on X that the U.S. Mission in the country has issued a shelter-in-place order for Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dhahran.

“We recommend that American citizens in the Kingdom shelter in place immediately,” the embassy stated.
