Fire aboard USS Gerald R. Ford injures two

Two U.S. sailors were hurt in a non‑combat fire aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford, the U.S. military said Thursday.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, the fire occurred while the Navy’s newest and largest aircraft carrier was operating in the Red Sea as part of ongoing actions related to the conflict with Iran.

The injured sailors were treated for non‑life‑threatening wounds and are in stable condition, and the ship remains fully operational.
