Cargo ship hit by missile in Strait of Hormuz

A cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz was struck by an unknown projectile, causing a fire on board.

Axar.az reports, citing the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), the incident occurred 11 NM north of Oman.

The crew requested assistance and were evacuated. The fire has been extinguished, no environmental damage has been reported, and authorities continue to investigate.
