Hungary rules out sending troops or funds to Ukraine

Viktor Orban will not allow Ukraine to join the European Union, send Hungarian troops to the war, or transfer Hungarian funds to Kyiv while he remains in office.

Axar.az reports according to Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, officials in Brussels, Berlin and Kyiv are aware that Hungary will stay out of the war as long as Orban is prime minister.

He added that the Hungarian government will not allow Hungarian soldiers or young people to be sent to the Ukrainian front, will not allocate Hungarian funds to Ukraine, and will oppose Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
