Four people were injured when an Air Canada passenger plane collided with a fire truck on a LaGuardia Airport runway late Sunday.

Axar.az reports, citing NBC, that the plane struck a Port Authority vehicle that was responding a separate incident.

According to sources, the plane's pilot and copilot sustained serious injuries, while two officers on the vehicle suffered broken limbs.

The plane was carrying 76 passengers and four crew members.
