Attempted assault on Pashinyan thwarted - Video

An incident was reported in Yerevan involving Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a visit to Saint Anna Church for the Tsakhkazard (Palm Sunday) liturgy.

Axar.az reports, according to Armenian media, the situation occurred as Pashinyan was leaving the church accompanied by supporters.

A young man approached the prime minister but was stopped by security personnel.

The individual reportedly shouted remarks and attempted to strike Pashinyan before being restrained by guards.

No further details on injuries or arrests have been officially confirmed.
