Heavy rainfall in Istanbul has caused disruptions at Sabiha Gokcen Airport, affecting aircraft landings.

Axar.az reports, as a result, 42 aircraft with low fuel levels were diverted to other airports, including 32 flights operated by Pegasus Airlines and AJet, which were redirected to Istanbul Airport.

The Turkish Meteorological Service warned that some flights at Sabiha Gokcen may be canceled on March 29–30 due to unfavorable weather. Passengers are advised to check their flight status on airline websites.
