UAE pipeline bypassing Hormuz hit, fire reported

The UAE oil pipeline running from Abu Dhabi to the Port of Fujairah, which bypasses the Strait of Hormuz, has reportedly been damaged and is on fire.

Axar.az reports, Pars Today Telegram channel citing satellite imagery, reported the incident, noting that the pipeline is part of the UAE’s efforts to circumvent the Strait of Hormuz.

Gulf countries have increasingly turned to alternative export routes amid ongoing disruptions, as Iran has reportedly closed the strategic waterway.
