US A-10 Warthog attack aircraft crashes near Hormuz

A US Air Force A-10 Warthog attack aircraft has crashed near the Strait of Hormuz.

Axar.az reports, citing The New York Times, the crash occurred at the same time as a US Air Force F-15E fighter jet was shot down over Iran, with one crew member rescued and another still missing.

The pilot of the attack aircraft was rescued.

The exact location and circumstances of the crash have not been disclosed.
