Iran denies role in Riyadh US embassy attack

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has denied any involvement in the reported attack on the US Embassy in Riyadh, saying Tehran had “absolutely no connection” to the incident.

Axar.az informs that in a statement, the IRGC’s public relations office, referring to a repоrt by The Wall Street Journal, strongly condemned the attack. It rejected claims linking Iran’s armed forces to the incident and instead suggested the attack was carried out by “Zionist” actors.

Earlier, the Wall Street Journal reported that on March 3, Iranian drones targeted the US Embassy in Saudi Arabia.
