Hezbollah claims strike on Israeli warship with missile

Hezbollah said on Sunday that it had targeted an Israeli warship with a cruise missile off the Lebanese coast.

Axar.az reports, citing Arab News, in a statement, the Iran-backed group said the vessel was 68 nautical miles off the Lebanese coast and claimed the warship was “preparing to launch attacks on Lebanese territory.”

Israeli warships have been used on several occasions in recent weeks to launch strikes on Lebanon.
