Another Crocus convict attempts suicide in prison

Another suspect in the “Crocus City Hall” terror attack, Jabrayil Aushev, attempted suicide in the Presnya transit prison but was successfully resuscitated.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that lawyer Daniel Gautier confirmed the attempt, stating that this is not Aushev’s first suicide attempt. Aushev first attempted suicide on March 12, 2026, the day his verdict was announced.

It should be noted that Yakubjan Yusufzade, 37, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the “Crocus” case, has committed suicide.
