Netanyahu orders direct talks with Lebanon amid tensions

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed to start direct talks with Lebanon as soon as possible.

Axar.az, citing Ynet, this announcement comes amid a decrease in Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, while Hezbollah continues firing rockets toward northern Israel.

Netanyahu said the main issues of the upcoming negotiations will include the disarmament of Hezbollah and the establishment of peaceful relations between Israel and Lebanon.
