Ukraine says it struck two Caspian Sea platforms

The Defense Forces of Ukraine have struck two drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea.

Axar.az informs, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian forces hit two ice-resistant stationary platforms (LSP-1 and LSP-2) located on offshore fields in the northern part of the Caspian Sea, nearly 1,000 kilometers from the frontline.

It is noted that the platforms are part of infrastructure supporting fuel supply for Russian forces.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that nine UAVs were destroyed over the Caspian Sea.
