Ghalibaf says two issues must be resolved before talks

Two issues must be fulfilled before negotiations can begin.

Axar.az reports that Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf made the statement on his X account.

"Two of the measures mutually agreed upon between the parties have yet to be implemented: a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of Iran’s blocked assets prior to the commencement of negotiations."

It is noted that on April 8, the United States and Iran reached an agreement on a two-week ceasefire. It is also reported that delegations for the talks in Pakistan have already departed for Islamabad.
