Iran sends 71-member delegation to talks with US

Iran has sent a 71-member delegation to talks with U.S. officials in Islamabad.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim, the delegation includes negotiators, technical experts, media representatives, and security personnel. It is led by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

The delegation also includes Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, while Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi is also part of the negotiating team.

The report notes that, given the complexity and sensitivity of the talks, the delegation includes not only chief negotiators but also technical and expert committees for consultations.
