Ukraine army robots captured Russian position for first time

Ukraine has, for the first time in the current war, reportedly taken control of an enemy position using only unmanned systems, including drones and ground robotic platforms, without the involvement of infantry.

Axar.az reports, citing RBC-Ukraine, “For the first time in the history of this war, an enemy position was taken exclusively by unmanned platforms – ground systems and drones. The occupiers surrendered, and the operation was carried out without infantry and without losses on our side,” the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

He also noted that Ukrainian robotic systems have carried out more than 22,000 missions over the past three months, significantly reducing risks to personnel by deploying machines instead of soldiers in high-risk areas.
