Lukashenko speaks on close ties with Xi Jinping

President Alexander Lukashenko has spoken about his personal relationship with Chinese President Xi Jinping, highlighting what he described as a tradition of “family meetings” between the two leaders.

Axar.az informs that in an interview with the television channel RT, Lukashenko said that they have established a good practice of holding annual informal meetings, which he said Chinese side refers to as “family meetings.”

“We have established a good practice: annual family meetings, as the Chinese called them. In the near future, we will meet again in a family setting. I will come to his family with my younger son, who graduated from Peking University. We are friends, we communicate,” Lukashenko said.
