7.4 earthquake hits Kuril Islands coast

A 7.4-magnitude earthquake has been recorded off the coast of the Kuril Islands.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk station.

The seismic event occurred on April 20 at 18:52 local time (Sakhalin time). The depth of the quake was 12 km.

No information has been reported about damage or casualties.
