Peter Magyar to be sworn in as Hungary’s PM on May 9

Peter Magyar, leader of the Tisa Party, will be sworn in as Hungary’s prime minister on May 9.

Axar.az reports that Magyar announced on his X account that: “On the afternoon of 9 May, following the official prime ministerial swearing-in ceremony, we will hold a celebratory event marking political change in Budapest’s Kossuth Square, next to Parliament,” he added.

It should be noted that Magyar’s party won the parliamentary elections held in Hungary on April 12, defeating the ruling coalition of current Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
