Indian drug lord Salim Dola, who was wanted by Interpol on a red notice, has been detained during an operation in Istanbul’s Beylikduzu district, where he was hiding in a house.
Axar.az informs, citing Turkish media, authorities also carried out an operation in Mumbai, where a criminal gang linked to S. Dola was arrested.
During searches at the location, 126 kilograms and 141 grams of mephedrone and 2,522,000 Indian rupees were seized.
It was reported that after procedures at the police station, the suspect will be handed over to Turkiye’s Migration Administration’s deportation center.
