Turkiye launches nationwide drone program

Drone production will begin in all 81 provinces of Turkiye, alongside the creation of training centers for operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Axar.az reports that this was announced by Haluk Bayraktar, CEO of Baykar.

He said the largest center will be established in Istanbul.

“Our goal is to set up drone operation training centers that will be open to the public. Young people will be able to test drones and become familiar with the ecosystem. This will allow us, if needed, to enable the simultaneous production of millions of drones across the country,” he said.
