US believes Iranian supreme leader is alive

The US administration believes that Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is alive.

Axar.az informs that this was told by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in an interview with Fox News.

"Well, we have indications that he is, obviously, they claim that he is. We don't have evidence that he's not," he said when asked if the Iranian supreme leader was alive.

It should be noted that a memorial wall in the city of Mashhad featured images of senior officials killed in the recent war, alongside a photo of Mojtaba Khamenei, which has fueled speculation that the new Supreme Leader may also have died.
