A large wildfire in western Florida, the United States, has raised concern after sending heavy smoke toward a residential area in Pembroke Pines.
Axar.az reports, citing CBS News, the fire broke out near U.S. 27 and Pines Boulevard, close to the Holly Lake community.
The Pembroke Pines Police Department reported that fire-rescue teams were stationed around the area to monitor conditions in case the flames moved closer to homes.
Officials said that as of Sunday, the fire had burned approximately 4,800 acres of Everglades vegetation.
No injuries have been reported, and no evacuations have been announced at the time of reporting.
