My main expectation from WUF is to build a common understanding of the issues we are discussing here. When we talk about housing or climate change, if we share our experiences and lessons learned, then one city will not repeat the mistakes of another.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Wycliffe Tongwa, a Coordination Officer at the UN Human Settlements Programme, in an interview regarding his expectations from WUF.

“If any coalition or NGO is planning a new initiative, they can learn from their partners what has worked and what has not,” he said.

“In my view, sharing experiences, lessons learned, and mistakes made should be one of the most important outcomes of this forum,” he added.
