17-year-old gunman kills 4, injures 8 in Turkiye

A gun attack has taken place in the Tarsus district of Turkiye’s Mersin province.

Axar.az reports that a 17-year-old attacker armed with a pump-action shotgun killed 4 people and injured 8 others.

The incident occurred at multiple locations in Tarsus. Security forces have launched a large-scale operation in the area, with helicopter support, to apprehend the suspect.

Authorities continue their efforts to locate and detain the attacker.
