Four injured in Iran after air defense test incident

Four civilians have been injured in Andimeshk due to a falling projectile.

Axar.az reports, citing Merh News, according to the deputy governor of Iran’s Khuzestan province, the sounds of gunfire heard in the skies over Andimeshk were part of an air defence test, and residents were urged not to be alarmed.

He added that due to the fall of a projectile in a residential area, four citizens were injured. Their condition is stable, and they are receiving treatment in medical centers.

The official also said that, thanks to the vigilance of the armed forces and provincial management, the situation is fully under control and further updates will be provided when necessary.
