President of Bulgaria Iliana Iotova, who is in Azerbaijan to participate in the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), visited the Sumgayit Industrial Park, which is under the management of the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA) of the Ministry of Economy.
Axar.az reports that Deputy Minister of Economy Azer Bayramov and Chairman of the Board of the Agency Seymur Adigozalov provided the Bulgarian delegation with detailed information on the modern infrastructure created for residents in the industrial zones, ongoing projects, and manufactured products. It was noted that a favorable business and investment environment has been established for entrepreneurs in the industrial parks. Residents are provided with ready infrastructure at the state’s expense and benefit from tax, customs, and other incentives.
It was also highlighted that broad opportunities have been created for exporting products manufactured in the industrial zones to both domestic and foreign markets, with goods supplied to various international markets.
The delegation also visited the resident enterprise “Caspian Lubricants” LLC, where Bulgarian investors are among the founders of the company.
They were briefed on the production process at the facility, applied technologies, production capacity, and product range.
