Pakistan army chief meets Iranian president

Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran.

Axar.az reports that the talks focused on Pakistan’s mediation efforts aimed at helping Iran and the United States reach an agreement.

As part of his visit, Asim Munir also held meetings with Iranian Parliament Speaker and chief negotiator in talks with the US, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

It should be noted that the Pakistani military chief arrived in Tehran the previous day on a mediation mission.
