In response to Kyiv's terrorist attacks against civilian infrastructure, the Russian Armed Forces have launched a massive retaliatory strike against Ukrainian military command facilities.

Axar.az informs, citing Izvestia, this was announced on May 24 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile system was used for the attack. The Iskander operational and tactical missile system (OTRK), Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles, Zircon cruise missiles, attack drones (UAVs) and other air, sea and land-based projectiles were also used.

"The targets of the strike have been achieved, all designated targets have been hit," the Russian Defense Ministry concluded.
