Armenia may confiscate homes linked to former elites

We must publish the list of assets belonging to the Karabakh pseudo-elite in Armenia as soon as possible in order to make the situation clearer.

Axar.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made the remarks during a speech at a parade in Yerevan.

“Today, they are preventing our people from Karabakh from settling in Armenia. They held people hostage in Karabakh, and now they want to keep our brothers and sisters from Karabakh hostage in Armenia. This will not happen,” he said.

“Yes, they must provide clarification, and through the system for confiscating illegally obtained property, we will take back dozens and hundreds of houses one by one. This will definitely happen in the near future, and that is why I am asking for a mandate from the people of Armenia and Karabakh. Representatives of that false elite must once again answer before the people of Armenia and Karabakh,” Pashinyan added.
