The deputy commander of Hamas’s Gaza City Brigade was killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip this week.

Axar.az informs according the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), Imad Aslim was killed in a strike on Wednesday, and a funeral was held for him in Gaza City on Thursday.

The IDF said Aslim was the deputy commander of the Gaza City Brigade and also the commander of the brigade’s Zeitoun Battalion.

Aslim commanded the battalion during the October 7, 2023, onslaught, when its terrorists invaded Israel, and recently, he worked to advance attacks on troops, “and therefore he was an immediate threat,” the military said.
