Drone strike sparks major fire in Taganrog oil facilities -

A drone attack on the Russian city of Taganrog overnight has left civilians injured and caused fires and infrastructure damage.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar on Telegram.

Two people were injured when a drone struck a private house in Taganrog.

During the air defense response, several drones were destroyed over Taganrog as well as the Chertkovsky, Matveevo-Kurgansky, and Neklinovsky districts.

In Grekovo-Timofeevka village in the Matveevo-Kurgansky district, falling drone debris caused a gas pipeline fire in a house, damaging the roof and windows. No casualties were reported and residents were evacuated.

At the Taganrog port, drone strikes caused fires on a tanker, a fuel storage tank, and an administrative building. No casualties have been confirmed so far, with information still being verified.

In the Neklinovsky district, window damage was reported in two houses in the village of Botsmanovo, with no injuries reported.
