Pashinyan speaks about border delimitation in Berdavan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that border delimitation between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be carried out in the near future.

Axar.az reports that Pashinyan made the remarks during an election campaign event in the Tavush community of Berdavan village in Armenia’s Tavush region.

“Peace is established on the basis that Armenia and Azerbaijan recognise each other’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and borders. This means that the border will be what it was in Soviet Armenia. Delimitation will begin in the north and continue all the way to the border with Iran. In the sections where we begin implementing the TRIPP project, we will carry out delimitation in short segments. For the remaining sections, we will have to sit down and work through them,” he said.
