Armenian and Turkish businesspeople meet in Kars

Armenian and Turkish businesspeople have held a meeting in the city of Kars.

Axar.az reports, citing Armenian media, the meeting discussed cooperation opportunities in transport, logistics, tourism, and trade sectors.

The meeting took place at the initiative of the Kars Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KATSO), with the support of the foreign ministries of Armenia and Turkiye, as well as the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkiye (TOBB).

Qadir Bozan, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized that the development of transport and logistics infrastructure is of great importance for the region’s economic future. He expressed hope that each meeting would lead to new investments and the formation of friendly relations.

Turkish and Armenian businesspeople also held closed-door discussions on issues related to the food industry, textiles, construction, tourism, and technology sectors.
