Russian strike hits two Ukrainian rescue vessels -

Russian forces struck two civilian vessels operated by Ukraine’s Maritime Search and Rescue Service while they were conducting a humanitarian mission along the Ukrainian maritime corridor, leaving casualties.

Axar.az reports that the information was shared on Telegram by Oleksii Kuleba, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery and Minister for Communities and Territories Development.

“The enemy attacked two Maritime Search and Rescue Service boats carrying out a humanitarian mission in the Ukrainian maritime corridor. Unfortunately, there are casualties. Ukrainian Navy vessels are currently conducting an evacuation operation,” Kuleba said.
