Qarabag target Casa Pia defender Joao Goulart

Azerbaijan’s Qarabag FC is determined to sign 26-year-old central defender Joao Goulart from Portugal’s Casa Pia.

Axar.az reports, citing SAPO, that since Alvaro Pacheco took charge, Goulart has been a regular starter and has attracted interest from several foreign clubs, particularly Qarabag.

It is noted that the Azerbaijani side had previously shown strong interest in the defender, whose contract runs until 2027. The club’s management is therefore reportedly open to a possible transfer this summer.
